This is live edge, cherry and black walnut sofa/hall table that I crafted in a modern style with a touch of Art Deco. The table top is handmade from beautifully figured, solid, cherry wood with a live edge, a testament to the nature's beauty that I craft. The base and legs are crafted from sold black walnut wood. The table is 41" long, 12" wide and 30" high. The black walnut leg system gives a modern/art deco sophisticated look to add to the character and beauty of the piece. It is finished with a Rubio Monocoat type two part hard wax and a nano ceramic coating for durability and beauty with an exceptionally smooth surface.
I craft the tables myself in my workshop in Tannersville, Pennsylvania. I use the wood as it comes from the tree, so there will be different grain patterns, markings, knots, and coloration in each table I make. Each top tells its own unique story with the variety of grain patterns, swirls and imperfections. The table shown is the one you will receive. I do accept custom orders if you would like a similar piece with different dimensions.
